LASER CUTTING ON ELECTRIC STEEL
Bystronic systems with "High Speed" cutting technology allow for complex manufacturing with high precision and finish on medium to thin thicknesses plate, with a tolerance of +/- 0.04 mm.
Combined with our optical and laser control systems we can provide a measurement accuracy of +/- 0.01 mm and total process control for medium - large series.
The production cost of the "High Speed" cutting, comparable to those of stamping, have the enormous advantage of very rapid delivery times and absence of investment in tooling, its application is particularly suitable in the electrical motors and generator industry.
Our Laser cutting technology ensures burr-free laminations.
The use of this technology allows the cutting of the stator and rotor core laminations from sheet metal for small and medium sized motors and generators; as regards medium and large sized generators, the possible applications are:
- Cutting stator core laminations in segments
- Cutting pole laminations
- Cutting rotor segments
The wide availability of different types of electric steel at our warehouse, from M250 to M800, makes it possible to respond relatively quickly to a wide range of applications and requests. |
