Aussafer Due, leading Italian player in sheet metal working with a focus on precision laser cutting services, has acquired Laserjet Spa (http://laserjetgroup.com), leading company operating in the same sector with complementary capabilities, and resulting in the creation of the largest group in Italy in sheet metal working and a reference player at the European level in terms of size, range of services and technology, with an expected turnover of 100 M€ in 2022 and 400 employees.Laserjet is an established company active for over 40 years in the sheet metal processing market, based in Vicenza, in the North of Italy.

Laserjet boasts a specific know-how on complex welding process, by means of innovative and high-tech machinery, and concentrates on larger/heavier/more complex parts.Laserjet’s core capabilities and technologies are engineering of complex metal products, laser cutting (7 laser machines, up to 13 meters length) and oxy cutting, tube laser cutting (not present yet in the group, max dimeter 600mm), bending (>15 machines, maximum 14 meters bending length), welding (8 robot welding, 110 manual welding stations), machining, finishing, surface treatments and painting.

Aussafer Group will now be able to offer more than 50 techonologies, and its core competences will be:

  • Laser cutting (>20 machines, max 13 meters)
  • High precision laser cutting for motor laminations/stacking/assembling
  • Punching
  • Combi punch-Laser
  • Stamping tools engineering and manufacturing
  • Cold stamping and forming
  • Oxy cutting
  • Tube laser cutting (max 14 meters)
  • Calendering
  • Bending (> 60 machines, max 14 meters)
  • CNC machining
  • Welding (130 stations, 10 robots)
  • Assembling
  • Surface treatments (linishing, hot zinc coating, galvanizing, electro coating, liquid paint and powder coating, chemical cleaning, …)

Laserjet is Aussafer’s 2nd build-up project, following the acquisition of Ramo srl (https://www.ramosrl.org/en/) that took place in September 2021.

Ramo srl is specialized in cold stamping/forming, laser cutting, bending and metal fabrication, and allows to integrate the services of the group. This build-up is complementary and will allow to diversify into strategic sectors where Laserjet operates and will integrate new significant opportunities and services for our customers.

Giacomo Citossi, CEO of Aussafer, comments "The synergy created thanks to this acquisition strengthens and increases the national and international leadership of Aussafer, with more than 20 active laser cutting systems and the introduction of a new one in tube cutting, but above all it represents the union of three industrial companies with incredible know-how and a strong positioning in Europe".
